Ketika menonton debat CAWAPRES semalam tentang IPTEK dan SDM, salah satu CAWAPRES sangat yakin bahwa Indonesia akan menjadi Macan Asia di tahun 2019. Karena telah SANGAT YAKIN akan ajaran guru-guru saya bahwa: “In God we trust, all others MUST bring DATA”, maka saya rela menggunakan waktu luang saya untuk mencari data beberapa indikator kinerja IPTEK dari berbagai Laporan Bank Dunia. Hasil pencarian ditampilkan dalam Tabel dan SANGAT MENCENGANGKAN BAHWA INDONESIA TELAH TERTINGGAL DARI VIETNAM!
Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi apa yang digunakan SEHINGGA INDONESIA dapat menjadi Macan Asia? Ilmu “abal-abal” ASBUN, atau Ilmu “Leu-Leu” (Black Magic), atau Ilmu “Tuyul” yang dapat mencuri uang dari Bank-bank Negara Maju di Asia atau Asean? He He jadi orang “BODOH” melihat “PECUNDANG” berbicara berapi-api TANPA FAKTA dan ANALISIS!

Some Indonesia’s Science and Technology Indicators in ASEAN and Asia
When watching Vice Presidential debate last night about Science and Technology and Human Resources, one Vice Presidential Candidate was very confident that Indonesia would be Asian Tiger in 2019. Because I am VERY CONFIDENT in my mentors’ teaching that: “In God we trust, all others MUST bring DATA”, then I was willing to use my spare time to research some Science and Technology performance indicators from various World Bank’s reports. The result of my finding is attached in the table and IT IS STAGGERING THAT INDONESIA HAS LAGGED BEHIND VIETNAM!
What Science and Technology would be used in order for Indonesia to be Asian Tiger? “Fake” ASBUN/As long as it sounds Science, or Black Magic Science, or Tuyul/Toyol Science that can steal money from developed countries’ banks in Asia or ASEAN? Hehe…I feel “STUPID” looking at “IGNORAMUS” fierily debating WITHOUT FACT and ANALYSIS!
