Professor of Total Quality and Operations Management in the Graduate School of Management at University of Trisakti, Jakarta. He has practical and theoretical expertises in the areas of: Management Systems and Industrial Engineering; Manufacturing and Quality Management; Managerial Economics; Production and Inventory Management and Statistical Analyses.
He finished his doctorate in Management Systems and Industrial Engineering at Institute of Technology Bandung with perfect GPA = 4.0, as well as graduated as Doctor of Science in Engineering and Technology Management from Southern California University for Professional Studies with Summa Cum Laude honors (maximum GPA = 4.0).
Moreover, he also has professional certifications from American Society Quality (ASQ), including: Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), dan Certified Quality Auditor (CQA). His professional certifications from American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) include: Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM), and Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). He also has a certification for Quality Management System Auditor from Exemplar Global (previously RAB-QSA), Australia. Furthermore, he has written popular academic articles with various national newspapers. In 1994, he received an award for Best Writer from Ministry of Education and Culture of Republic of Indonesia. Since 1998, he has written more than 40 popular academic textbooks in Business and Industrial Management.
